From the depths, they cry. You can hear their voices, if you are attentive. They have no mercy, and they know no love. When the Saints of darkness pray for you, you are already lost, and you will never be the same.
In this collection I invite the viewer to take part in a cycle of mania - mixed episode - depression, followed by a tripart depiction of psychotherapy, without which, the cycle could never be fully broken. The numbers and letters are the codes used by the ICD (International Classification of Diseases), forming a basis for diagnosis.
"Crazy eyes" are a critical warning sign of stormy weather. This is a series of self-portraits and selfies, collected within a span of two decades, documenting the changes of both time and temper.
